This software is no longer useable. DO NOT BUY Microsoft Office Mac 2011 unless it comes with a valid product key. As sold by Microsoft the product key was not included in the package. Instead a one-time PIN was provided which could be used at the Microsoft website to obtain the product key. However, Microsoft ended support for Office 2011 in 2017, and the website has been deactivated. It is now IMPOSSIBLE to obtain the product key, and without that you cannot install and run the software. So even a sealed new copy of this software is worthless today, except as a collector's item.

When they transferred everything from the old Mac the 'key' would not unlock any of the critical documents I had previously created in Office. My new Mac came with programs and Office Mac 2011 works flawlessly with all of them.
I can export documents created in Pages as a Word document; fantastic! The same for documents created in Numbers, which I can export and open in Excel.
If you have a Mac and are used to MS Office this is a great product. However, the programs that came with my Mac are also terrific, just different from Office. Although a great product, if I didn't need to open MS Office documents, I would not have purchased Office Mac because I absolutely love Pages and Numbers!
